The Flow of Life captures the profound, intimate dependency between water and life. I incorporated painted, cut-out plants and a movable drinking arm attached to the figure symbolizing mother earth to create a scene of a lush ecosystem being hydrated with the life source. While creating this piece, I could not help but think about the source of our daily drinking water and the cyclical nature of the consequences of our actions on the planet.
